I frequent I-45 when going to Galveston or Dallas. It is one busy road 24/7 and it is amazing that a serial killer has operated there for so long without being caught. The following episode is truly baffling:

Jessica Cain had just graduated high school in 1997 and had planned on becoming a criminologist at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. She was celebrating graduation with friends at a Bennigan's Restaurant in Clear Lake City (southeast suburban Houston) and left about 1 AM to return home (she was alone) to Tiki Island, a wealthy enclave just north of Galveston on I-45. She never made it.
Her abandoned car was found on the southbound shoulder of I-45 several miles north of the Galveston Causeway, her keys and purse still in it. There was no trace of her, no blood, and she remains missing to this day.
I can't fathom what could have made her stop there, a young woman alone at that time of night, for any reason, as she was only a few miles from her home. As stated, this road is very busy at all hours, yet no one reported anything unusual. If someone had been hiding in the back floorboard of her car, would they have let her get almost home before making a move?
Anyway, I'll be curious to see how they handle this film.
