I'd say it's better, CG.
Poor Potts has Holmes down as the murderer of Lizzie Borden's father.
These Holmes as Ripper fellows are a rare breed. For them, their suspect didn't even have to be in London to be the Ripper. That's because Holmes wasn't.
If there was the slightest chance he went to London in 1888, you can bet your dollymops that he'd have boasted of it in his confessional/autobiography that he wrote in Moyamensing Prison...and he'd have claimed he was the Ripper.
Better bring a jackhammer with a spare drill bit, Joanie....the lad is in some deep concrete. He was worried that someone would tamper with his corpse like he did with living people....boiling their bodies down to skeletons and stuff.
Yeah, he was a scary guy without being Jack and I have insurance policies too. Maybe I could borrow a leg bone or something and we can match his DNA against the DNA on the shawl.

Hi Howard
Yes I don't buy the Borden connection. Yes Holmes was a very bad guy -- bad news for anyone he encountered, but in all cases it seems that he killed for gain and not just to bump people off. which is what happened with the Borden murders, so I am not convinced that he had anything to do with those murders. . . unless you want to artificially connect period murders together which is what Mark Potts seems to want to do.
My wife saved the article for me. What a steaming pile...
Didn't someone claiming to be HH's relative make a claim a few years ago saying the same thing? I wish someone could trace HH at the time and at least place him in London before making such claims.
Rob:
Yes, that person was Jeff Mudgett. He is Holmes's grandson or great grandson.
Don't hold your breath waiting for him or anyone else to be able to place Holmes in London any time soon, buddy.
