I love the book. It was very informative. However, there are a lot of murders that the Ripper was suspected of that was not mentioned in the book, including the first two victims in 1909.

During the height of the Atlanta Ripper murders in 1911, a petition by the black leadership was circulated. The petition listed 17 unsolved murders of Black women during the past two years. The unidentified woman floating in Peachtree Creek was one of those cases. I found the original article about the case in the Georgian and according to the article, the police were unable to determine if the woman was murdered, committed suicide, or died accidentally.
