    I am pretty sure the postmortem photo of a shaved and damaged woman's head from the back, about 3:47 on the video, has been getting passed around online as that of Abby Borden, Lizzie's stepmother.

    I had never seen this picture until fairly recently though I have had a strong interest in the Borden case. I have the idea the picture is from the Axeman of New Orleans series and is not of Mrs. Borden.

      You're right...that is the back of Mrs. Borden's head and not a Axeman victim.

      Not all of the photos are related to the Axeman case.....but there are photos of victims that haven't been seen elsewhere.
