This one seems to cover it all. Perhaps Ostrog could be linked in as Dr. Gull's assistant and surely Druitt must have tutored Prince Eddy at some time. Tumblete was surely part of the plot by drawing attention to himself in seeking certain organs...

There was a showbiz clique operating at that time - Druitt, Kosminski, Gull, Tumblety etc. They all played golf together and all appeared at one another's murders - Druitt was 'Special Guest Murderer' on no fewer than five occasions. In the end the public tired of getting murdered by them and sought fresh faces.

Probably just a re-write of this book.

            Hi Rob,

I am sure you are right as according to this website "Much of this information comes from the diary of police inspector Frederick Abberline which did not see the light of day until 70 years after the murders."

These diaries did first appear in The Tipper and the Royals, and who found them? None other than Joseph Gorman Sickert.

However you did forget the Danish farm hand named Fred or Frank who was allowed to apprentice during the autumn of terror. Having honed his craft under real experts, he soon immigrated to America where he met Carrie Brown....
