I attempted to trace Frank for the suspect encyclopedia.

Bertha and George did have a cousin with that first name, Frank Wilton, but he was a police officer in Sussex not an accountant.

Bertha Edwards was born around 1884 and married Arthur Parkhurst in 1915. He died in 1936 and she passed away in 1970, still living at 56 St Elmo Road, Worthing. I was unable to ascertain when she moved to that address, which would give a date range for Frank's alleged visit after the broken leg.
