  • Crime Museum talk

    Hi How and friends

Keith Skinner emailed me and has asked me to give a talk about George Chapman at the Crime Museum at Scotland Yard.

I've never been there and I'm thrilled and honoured to be in such a famous place.

    I can't wait!

To retired police officers. 10th December. Unfortunately, I just found out it is for the invited guests only.

It is needless to say a great honor to be asked to speak there!

              Well done.

The talk went down a treat! They were lovely people and sent me a nice thank you letter... here is the top bit.

Sorry to those who tried to buy a copy of Jack the Ripper At Last and found it out of stock. There was a slight delay in acquiring the fourth batch of books printed.

I now have plenty here in my office, and post out daily so orders now will get to you (in the UK) by Xmas.

Please use the link below to "Buy It Now".

                Thanks!

Fabulous to see, Helena. Looks as if they have the wrong year though?

Great to see that image of Keith Skinner at your lecture, Helena, and to know that he sponsored your talk at the Crime Museum. As a lecturer myself, I wonder how many of the older crowd in the audience you might have lost to a doze during the course of your talk.

I've never met Helena, nor even spoken to her on the phone, but if her talk was just half as fascinating as her book I've no fears whatever of her audience falling asleep...I'm sorry to hear it's a problem you've encountered...
