        I haven't seen it, boss.

        I wonder if Helena has.....

Can you make out what it says after it says "Has he shown capacity...." on the bottom page ?

I don't think Helena has seen it as she hasn't referenced it in her book.

Is this the bit you mean?

                Thank you Rob, very interesting.

I notice there are wikipages on the the executioners: main executioner would be William Billington and his assistant would be his brother John. John would have been 23 at the time, perhaps that is why the governor remarked that he was too young.

Their father executed Thomas Neill Cream. Quite the family.

                  Kattrup:

Thanks for answering the question. It says, "too young".

Good work, Rob. Even if chilling to see!

Sorry, Chris, you've responded to a post I just deleted on account of a stoopid mistake on my part! I misread it - he was actually 5' 5¾"
                        Kind regards, Sam Flynn

Both posts say 5' 5¾" -- but I can delete my posts if you delete yours.

I don't mind making a mistake, Chris, so let it stand as testimony to my all too human frailty
