Henry Gawen Sutton was baptised at West Acklam in August 1835.

His father and an uncle were master mariners.

He married an Irish lass when about 20 whilst studying.

In 1867 he was employed by The London Hospital and joined St Leonards Vestry Board.

Probably best known as Sir William Withey Gull's protege and co researcher.

Robert Louis Stevenson wrote "Strange Case of Jekyll and Mr Hyde" because he believed Sutton to be a hypocrite.

Hyde is Sutton.

Henry Jekyll (Henry G Kill ..... get it) is Gull.

Sir Danvers Carew,MP is based on a pollie who died from an overdose of chloral HYDrate
in June 1885.Prescribed by Gull.

Inspector Newcomen is Major Henry Smith,RLS's cousin.

The novella has two time frames,circa 1867 and 1885 when Smith became Chief Superintendent ,City of London Police.
It is worth a couple of reads.
Note the girl trampled by Hyde.Her age matches a Mary Ann Kelly baptised at St.Leonards.Also matches the prostitute in the 1881 Census.

In December1867 Nichols and Eddowes (as Conway) become Sutton's inpatients with Rheumatic Fever.

Tallies with them running into each other in Thawl Street,with Nichols moving next door to Eddowes.

As soon as Eddowes goes hopping,Nichols is murdered near The London Hospital.

Chapman resided several doors from Kelly.

She was murdered close to the Black Swan pub.

JtR seemed to have a go at taking her head off.

She had TB of the brain.

Last thing she did was pluck cachous from JtR's outstretched palm.

Cachous are helpful with HHT and can be viewed as medication.

Eddowes deserves a thread of her own.

We'll look at her demise in Mitre Square.

Surmise Sutton had a London base for when he worked late and nominate 6 Mitre Street.

Eddowes would have arrived at number 6 about the same time as Sutton.

Time for them to have a chat, with Eddowes telling Sutton when the police asked her name,she replied "nothing".

Sutton decided she was too much of a risk and strangled her.

The removal of the cholesterol from her eyelids required light and a small scalpel.The condition was one that Gull,and therefore Sutton,had been researching for some time.

Once the policeman had passed,Eddowes was taken out the window,through the gate and into Mitre Square.

Need a rest,been battling Fibromyalgia for 39 years.Same disease D'Onston was treated for.

That's correct.
Their ages are a year out as well More proof.
There is a lot more to this,which is where this thread is headed.
Strep Pyogenes resides in the small intestine.Faeces passing through the large intestine can be viewed through a mikerscope.

His father plied the Baltic Sea.Baltic House was nearby.His father expected him to follow his profession.Have a look at Sutton's left ear in his 'photo.
There was a notable collection of Jews at Finsbury Square that both Sutton and Gull resided in.Their houses were next to each other.
Hopefully will post a link to some of Sutton's lectures.Obvious Jewish leanings.
Would have been right at home at the club in Berner Street.

Do you recall a few years ago when you surmised that the land tax records would show Sutton owned 6 Mitre Street and said you hadn't been able to get access those records because you were in Australia so I looked them up for you and Sutton's name didn't appear at that address at any point in time?
