James mabrick is a innocent man, he's a groomed patsy,! The blotter was written by someone close to him, and was dramatic in their written words ,they had some knowledge of some of the crimes but not all of them, and knowledge of his personal life, bribery mabricks brothers, maybe and the judge in the florie maybric case (his son) just what I think? Does anyone have the same questions

I know Manchester city centre would be ideal for all concerned, but context is required and understanding what a person from Liverpool would construe as the general area of cottonopolis / Manchester is what matters here. He did not have any need to be super precise to suit researchers. If it was all generally Manchester to him, then that's what it was to him.

Maybe serial killers should be more specific in their private confessions to assist future researchers.
It was considered Horwich to the Masons who met at the same Crown Hotel, mentioned in the press reports about the murder. They met there a year after the murder to discuss the formation of a lodge in Horwich.

                  Well, isn't that curious.

I actually tried contacting The Crown to see if they kept historical guest logs/visitor books. No reply.
