This is the location of the 1909 photo.....On Rivington Street looking down Orchard Street....one mile from the Hotel Carrie Brown was murdered in back in 1891.
There's an air conditioner in the window where a woman was leaning out back in 1909.

Truly amazing detail. Is that a tooth, complete with roots, hanging outside the building in the right foreground? A dentist’s perhaps?
