Logging in and out

Hi all,

The last couple of weeks while i've been browsing the forums, I keep getting randomly logged in and out? Has anyone else had this issue or is it something on my end? No biggie but just wanted to check.

It's the same for me too, Adam.
I get logged out randomly when I am in the middle of posting and also I can go through two pages of a thread and get logged out on the third.
I've tried clearing my browser cache and other recommended things but nothing seems to help.

It happened to me too. I just thought it was the bullshit filter kicking in.

I followed the destructions given and increased the time out from 9000 to 60000 'seconds'

Session Timeout
This is the time in seconds that a user must remain inactive before their login session expires. This setting also controls how long a user will remain on Who's Online after their last activity.

Remember to click the 'remember me' box when you log in !

That seems to have fixed it for me, without having to tick remember me either. Thanks, How.

I'm very glad Debs.....it bothers me a lot when these glitches occur and I'm all thumbs about correcting them.
Hope it stays that way.

Sorry for the delayed response, but glad I wasn't alone and it does seem to be fine now. At least it wasn't wiping the new posts when it was logging us out! Thanks How.

How, I was repeatedly logged out this evening.
I tend to read more than post, so don't log in that often. However this evening I was having a peruse of various threads. Almost every time I went to the next page I'd been logged out. I'm not that slow a reader!

No real biggie for me, as like I say I post rarely, but thought I'd let you know as had seen this thread, and if it's a glitch/wider issue than just me being useless, you might wanna know.

Its a glitch and the bitch is, is that its out of my control. Eventually, they work their way out of the system. Sorry, buddy !!
