Technology Advice Needed Please.

My problem is that I’ve never been able to put an image onto a thread post as it’s always told me that the file size is too large. I’ve just googled this and it’s told me to click on things which don’t appear to exist on my iPad. As I’ve said before, when it comes to technology I make your average caveman look like a genius.

So can anyone tell me what is the best (and of course, the easiest) thing to do. I know that there are apps that I can download but I need an idiot proof one. Any advice would be welcome guys.

Hi Michael

one easy thing to try is to email the file to yourself or another account you’ve acces to.

A common preference is for the ipad mail service to resize the file, asking something like “This file is X mb. Would you like to send: original, medium, small” or some wording like that and then presenting you with a choice of file sizes. Pick a minisize, send the mail and when it arrives a few seconds later, it’s been emsmallened!

If your mail client doesn’t ask you this, we’ll think of something else

Try this site, Michael.
Drop the image you want to resize into the upload box and then choose the new size you want it to be. So you can choose 50% to make your new image half the size of the original.
