'5 to 6 groups of up to 60 people'?

Even in 2006, that is a ridiculous under-estimation. Our own Bob Hinton did a paper on Dark Tourism long since and his suggestion was there were about 12 groups running at any one time. I think that's more likely in a night. Also, some of the groups are well over 100 people.

I'm not sure what I think of this paper. A lot of it appears to be little more than high-brow reportage. I learnt little from it and there appear to be strong hints of subjectivity in it. It's written intelligently, but I don't know what it really SAYS. Well found though, Tim.

And I have a feeling I may have been one of the anonymous guides, given some of the recollections within!

      Hi Philip

It's only fitting that Ripper tour guides should be anonymous, given that the killer is anonymous!

      Cheers
