How about that....1 out of every 5 Forums members are on the side of Mackenzie being a Ripper victim.
Clay Pipe has a chance of cracking into the "canon".

Stanley Dean...why not the canonical eight ?
Or are you discounting Tabram or Coles or some other victim ?

            Stan:
Do we have a "who was JTR's first victim ?" poll ?
If not, could you, in your own inimitable way, please set one up ?

If Brown and/or Coles were Ripper victims then that would eliminate several suspects.

                  Even Mylett would eliminate Druitt.

Everyone that isn't a Torso victim has at least one adherent.

                    • The Pinchin Torso seems to have been thought of as a Ripper victim by quite a few at the time but then that faded rather quickly.

                      • I think the newspapers wanted Pinchin in there to keep the story going.

                        • Elizabeth Jackson is on the Book of Lists tally but that may just be because it they needed a tenth to fill out the list.

                          • That was the first Book of Lists.

I wonder if they would include Millwood should they make a new list today.

                              • I guess since the outlier tod on the Whitehall victim was 2 months (placing her possibly even before Tabram), she could have been Jack's first murder as well
