      No he doesn't....

The answer is Sherlock Holmes vs. The Spider Woman.

      • While we're on the subject, I feel this has to be the definitive interpretation of the great detective :

          Ha!

I watched a documentary about Pete and Dud on London Live last night.

That is probably their funniest sketch (for family viewing at least).

            • I even skipped through The Spiderwoman yesterday and didn't catch it! Should have watched the whole thing through LOL

A great question man, especially for fans of both like myself

"MMMMMMM I love your jim-jams Wattie!"

This was hilarious, and this was one of my favourite scenes.

Its in the beginning of the film when Holmes and Watson are fishing in Scotland....Holmes mentions it ( the Pajama Suicides ) being the biggest thing to hit England since Jack The Ripper.

Crap!!! Now you say it that way I can virtually hear it. Didn't even consider that scene.

                    That's what I get.

Should have picked up on it though.............another serial killer mystery. Made sense.

                    • Damn! I missed this. Sherlock Holmes is my favourite subject (along with Jack of course) but I can hear the choruses of 'yeah sure' when I say that I knew that one. I'll have to keep an eye open for more Holmes questions. I set a Holmes quiz for a couple of friends recently.

                      Regards

Thanks for the vote of confidence Gary,
                          .

Can anyone throw in a trivia question here?

                          • Mike:

                            You asked for it.

We know the writer, Hall Caine, was an associate ( putting it mildly) of Francis Tumblety.

Now, name a bona fide murderer, who has been theorized as being the Ripper, who Caine interviewed ( hint: after 1888 ) and had his article on the subject published.
