Damn! I missed this. Sherlock Holmes is my favourite subject (along with Jack of course) but I can hear the choruses of 'yeah sure' when I say that I knew that one. I'll have to keep an eye open for more Holmes questions. I set a Holmes quiz for a couple of friends recently.

We know the writer, Hall Caine, was an associate ( putting it mildly) of Francis Tumblety.
Now, name a bona fide murderer, who has been theorized as being the Ripper, who Caine interviewed ( hint: after 1888 ) and had his article on the subject published.
