No kidding...but the best place I have ever tasted a tuna hoagie from was the local supermarket...and their roast beef hoagies are unbelievable. each is about two pounds in weight and only $ 5.95 each.
Bell
Do this.
Take some roast beef and slice it thin...let it simmer in fried onions ( dice them first )...and then add a quarter stick of butter and let it all blend in.
Take a half pound of swiss cheese and microwave it in a bowl...until it is gooey. You'll have to go back and forth with the cheese to stir it to prevent the natural oils in the cheese from separating too much. Its worth it.
Take the same Italian roll and toss the melange inside ( "Gut" the roll....by that I mean take out a lot of the unnecessary bread on the inside of the roll) and then...voila !.... you've got the first, authentic, English Alpine Steak.
Subway Sandwiches are where people with too much money,no sense, and no taste go in Philadelphia. They're usually dorky college students who can't figure out eating franchise food is bad news.
Hey...in a pinch, I'll eat a bologna sandwich....but if you have taste, avoid those dumps. Their lunchmeat sits out for God knows how long.
