No. The biggest clue that I could give would be to say that your answer was 'close.'

                    • Right didn't know this but seen it in an article today, what is the name of the private club the beefeaters drink in in the Tower of London, and which beer is exclusive to the club?

                      • The reason that I said that Robert was close with Peter Cushing was that it was Christopher Lee. He played Holmes in The Deadly Necklace in 1962 and then again in 1991 in a TV movie called The Leading Lady.

                        • Trivia time once again....get those dunce caps tightened.

                          In this paper :

Cleveland Plain Dealer January 12, 1912

Henry Irving, the British actor, is quoted as having referred to Hall Caine by what nickname :

                          A. Old Poofpants
                          B. Her Majesty
                          C. The Red Haired Dynamo
                          D. Old Shakespeare
                          E. 'Fuzzy'
                          F. The Manx Mountebank

                          • Caine's heritage is "manx" so I'll go with F.

                            • Old Poofpants was Howard's Great Grandpappy. Old Shakespeare was Carrie Brown. Fuzzy seems too modern, ditto red haired dynamo - sounds more like Alan Ball. I suspect How got Manx Mountebank from this :

                              https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=...tebank&f=false

So I'll plump for Her Majesty.

Nice try, amigo...but incorrect. Better luck next time.

                                Christ, are you dumb !
No, that's not a good answer or the right one. Try again.
