  • 10 of the World's Greatest Mysteries List

    http://www.mnn.com/lifestyle/arts-cu...lved-mysteries

This list interested me as quite a number of them I had never heard of!
The list on this site is:-
10 of the World's Greatest Mysteries

    1) The Voynich manuscript
    2) The Kryptos sculpture
    3) The Beale Ciphers
    4) The Phaistos Disc
    5) The Shugborough Inscription
    6) The Tamam Shud case
    7) The Wow! Signal
    8) Zodiac letters
    9) The Georgia Guidestones
    10) Rongorongo

    I was completely unfamiliar with Nos. 2, 3, 6 and 9.
    Any thoughts?
What mysteries would you have on this list?

I've heard of all but 5 and 10. What a stupid list. Jack totally trumps them all, particularly in terms of popular opinion. I would think the Shroud of Turin would also trump most or all of that list. The Georgia Guidestones were put up in the 1970s and really aren't that big of a mystery.

      Yours truly,

          Chris:

I believe I once caught a condition known as "rongorongo" before...itched like a sumbitch too.
I've heard of most of them, but the WM is still the goods...always will be.

Those Georgia Guidestones really aren't a mystery...they've attracted the attention of religious clowns ( who claim its an "anti-christ" device) and even that putz Yoko Ono.
          They know who built it....
What's sort of funny is that they've inscribed this mushy liberal message on it which reads : "Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature."
Since there are 7,000,000,000 people on Earth, its gonna be hard to achieve that figure without whacking about 93 percent of everyone alive !

            How's your rash?
I found shredded wheat and Vaseline applied twice a day did the trick!

I'd heard of all but 7.

I woukd think that the greatest mystery might well be why people other than the terminally masochistic and those under sentence from a judge who found a loophole in the 8th Amendment would attend an Adam Sadler movie.

                Don.
