    They tended to repeat venues, but occasionally an inquest was held in a new place. Here's an example of Sgt. Dorey (or Doxey?) providing Macdonald with directions at the bottom of this request for a warrant. (Box 1, Case No. 72). Macdonald's expenses for mileage would have been figured into his salary.

      From Box 5, Case No. 64, inquest on a two week old infant suffocated in bed (verdict was accidental). There are many, many examples of these kinds of deaths in Macdonald's records.

      This one was fairly extensive and was adjourned from Feb 26 1889 to March 5, during which time a postmortem was performed. This file includes the notes of the medical witness.

        From the same case, Greenwood's medical evidence as given at the inquest. I believe this is another example of testimony being copied, this one from the March 5 session as they seem to repeat, but not sure this time.
