The April 11th,1889 Pall Mall Gazette article which mentions Johann Kerslo ( not Kelso)...a German pamphleteer who was sentenced to two weeks in jail for distributing a pamphlet entitled, The Latest Atrocities of Jack The Ripper, in Stuttgart.
Here his surname is different.

I took a look around here and thought to myself...what would be a great way of starting a Saturday off ? ....and the first thing that popped up was an execution.
I'm working on a newspaper report of the April 1889 execution of William Bury....article to follow.
Here's an example of a man committing suicide, supposedly or actually as a result of the impact of the Ripper. We do have reports of women committing suicide...and this may be the first report to appear in print ( at least) of a man doing that to themselves.
