What a tease! Is that Nov. 30th 2010 or Nov. 30th 1895, Howard?

That would be today Chris...later on in the afternoon.
Hard to believe that tomorrow is the last month of 2010 already.

I'll look forward to it, Howie. You are doing a great job unearthing all these interesting newspaper articles. And as for your comment that it's "hard to believe that tomorrow is the last month of 2010 already", don't you know that time passes fast when you are having fun? Or should that be that time passes fast when you're getting old?

Probably a combination of both CG....getting old and having fun.
1895 In The News features one of my "favorite" suspects...W.G.Grainger...who had his clothes stolen on more than one occasion. That makes me laugh..just like Isenschmid does with his remark about "owning everything.."

Dr. Campbell Black & The " Contagion Of Crime"

We've got this article or one similarly titled somewhere.
Despite the few gaffes, worth the read.

                    March 1895

On the last column, mention of a work (Jack The Ripper) by Bertrand et Clarian is mentioned. I'm not familiar with this.
                    Are you ?

How L. Forbes Winslow Caught The Ripper

You know how "they" say if you associate with certain types, you begin to emulate 'em ?
It makes me wonder whether some of the looniness in the asylum he was associated with didn't rub off on him.
Here he is again..not having been in the news for a spell...
