I would certainly welcome a piece on Alice`s origins, and a timeline with sources from her birth to July 89 would certainly compliment my article. Do you have the inclination ?

Having re-read my article I noticed a bit about blind boy George Dixon possibly been a younger brother of lodging house keeper Elizabeth Ryder (her maiden name was apparently Dixon)

Have you come across anything on Dixon on Ryder that may show them to be relatives as I suggested ?

Re. Caroline Slade. I remember wondering if she was a sister (in law) to Elizabeth Ryder and not sister but can`t remember what if I found regarding their husband`s and brothers.

My memory of the Dixon stuff is a bit hazy. I’ll have to revisit it - and everything else Alice related. It will keep me out of mischief.
