        She was living a bit further to the northeast, in James Street, I think.

          We have to add Everard Street to the list. Just north of Ellen Street and meeting the southern end of Berner Street. A number of prostitutes listed on the 1861 census.

            To sum up, then, this particular version of the moveable feast appears to have been within the area bounded by Fairclough Street, Christian Street, Cable Street and Backchurch Lane with nodes of notoriety in Brunswick Street, Frederick Street and Everard Street (at least).
