    I remember a discussion, I think concerning the torso cases, trying to understand what was meant by "flaps of skin". I cannot find that thread just now but it is also a forensic question.

    Dr. Bond, describing injuries to MJK, wrote, "The right thigh was denuded in front to the bone, THE FLAP OF SKIN, including the external organs of generation and part of the right buttock." (emphasis mine)

    We have all seen the picture of what is on the little table. I guess that is a "flap of skin"? It looks like the term can cover a large range of material?
