I have a question I will probably mangle. A Schwartz child was registered for school at the Berner Street School? Did parents choose the school where their kids went or were they assigned by living address? The wickedness of the world is the dream of the plague.~~Voynich Manuscript

Hi Anna
I don't know the answer to that, but in a world of transient lodgings I doubt if children were uprooted from school all the time or if authorities could keep tabs on these people. The school records only show one address, whereas some parents would move at least once during their child's time at the school.

Most of the Polish Milgrams come from the obvious places (ŁÃ³dź, Warsaw), but - spookily, perhaps - there are proportionately a large number of Milgrams (24) listed from the small town of Lipsko.Kind regards, Sam Flynn
