    Is it, Robert? I don't really know if it's odd or not. Perhaps it's more of a formal photograph marking an event and they aren't in work attire?

    I also kept this one back for a time after I found it, giving Neil a chance to use it in his book first:

    The detectives in the picture registered it for copyright in May 1888 in their collective names and the address of 26 Old Jewry.
    The names listed on the form are Henry Webb, James Brett, Robert Chick, William, Frederick Lawley, John Mitchell, Henry Taylor, Frederick Downer,
