  • Littlechild's retirement?

A retired 'tec gets no peace it seems.
From the 'Illustrated', April 7th 1897:

Well, I buggared that one up. No matter. I would urge all to read McIntyre's thoughts... the report I intended to post was all about some bloke shaking his piece outside of Littlechild's windows.
    Ah well.

He'd have come to a sad end, in more ways than one, if he'd tried the same stunt outside Mary Kelly's, AP!

I'll try again with the Littlechild report.

I think what is of interest in McIntyre's report from 'Reynold's' of April 7th 1895 is how he quickly absolves the members of the Berner's Street Club from any involvement in the murder of Liz Stride... and this from a police detective who has been intimately involved with the club for many a long year.
Tom would do well to look at this report.
