Simon Wood is selling his rare 1919 original edition..which is totally different to the 1946 version.

I have been told this book is really quite rare..are there many members who have this 1919 original?

I've seen copies come up for sale on a number of occasions, all going for very cheap money. More sentimental than the later version, I still think it should be taken into consideration when judging Sir Robert Anderson. Really kind of boring, though.

They seem to be getting rarer and more expensive. The latest is fetching up to £50 and the 1919 edition is up for grabs at £30 (oddly enough). They used to be seen around quite a bit, but a lot of interest seems to have been taken in Anderson by religious people in recent years and I guess collectors have snapped them up and made the books more attractive to sellers who have kicked up the price.

"Mum, Dad And The Ripper." It'll go like hot cakes.

'My Dad the Ripper' would go even better. After all, Sir Rob was suspected of involvement by Knight and by Melvyn Fairclough.
