Ha. Love it. Particularly the very dry humour of the text.

I was just looking at the case of Fowler and Millsom and it says...

"Now that they were aware that it was Milsom whom they wanted, and that Fowler was missing as well, the police started a manhunt. It eventually turned out that the men were together in a small travelling waxworks that journeyed to fairs around the country, with Fowler acting as the strong man in the circus"

There are a num,ber of aspects of the case worth a read...

Enjoyed that one too! Any more accounts of Victorian effigy abuse?

            Phil:

I'll keep my eye out. I know there were a couple of incidents which broke out on Guy Fawkes Day back in the early 1890's...when effigies of Mrs. Maybrick and JTR were featured.

                        Thanks, How.

This makes me think of two things.

                        1) How does that last case finish and

                        2) Indirectly, how - if you go looking - you can find numerous accounts of almost anything. People base theories on less.

                          Phil:

I entered Benjamin Martin, Tussauds, and Walter Stiff into the search cache and nothing appeared regarding the incident in question.....
                          Sorry old man....

                            Hi Howard

I have been asked at Yo Liverpool if we know of the follow-up to the attack on the waxworks in Liverpool, so let me know if you come up with anything... sentencing of the attackers, etc.

                            Thanks

                            Chris
