Ive visited the museum near St Thomas' hospital in Westminster, London, it excellent...I also have a few biographies of her...Cecil W Smiths is an old one but very detailed, Mark Bostridge wrote one that came out last year, more up to date.

Anne Lister -Lesbian Diary Writer from Halifax
One of my favourite women from the earlier 1800s....wrote a massive diary, part in code so nobody could read her most private thoughts on her lovers. She lived in Shibden Hall, Halifax, which is open to the public today...Only 1/5 of her diaries have been transcribed and sit waiting for someone to finish them off and get them published...

The Bronte Sisters - Novelists from Haworth, Yorkshire
My favourite women, three novelists, Charlotte, Emily and Anne Bronte from Haworth in West Yorkshire. Famous for writing Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and Villette. All the family are buried in Haworth except Anne who has a grave in St Marys church, Scarborough.

Victoria Woodhull
Even though the link is from Wikipedia, this woman is worth mentioning. She does have a site devoted to her life out there....
Lots of controversy about her over the years...her selecting a moulinjon as a running mate for President and whether her place in history as the first woman to run for President is valid today, considering she wasn't put on any ballots. A feminist who was against abortion as well as other things. One thing she wasn't was a prostitute as one or two Ripperologists claimed.
Victoria Woodhull.
