For some reason my Internet Explorer stops working whenever I try to load this pdf, whether from Howard's link or another

I've had this problem with other pdfs - I'll have to check the ie settings

I did manage to get it elsewhere earlier via Firefox

When I just clicked on the link with IE again it said "Internet explorer has stopped working"

I must have a setting active which rejects pdfs for some reason

I'll search it out as it appears to be an automatic security setting imposed on me by Windows Vista and IE

Incidentally, if anyone (like yourself) views Youtube a lot and is constantly irritated by the advertisements as I was, you can use an add-on with Mozilla Firefox which allows you to watch as many videos as you like with no ads - it's a million times better that way

Let me know here if you need the details, they're quite easy to find with a Google search

Hi Howard

I followed this link at Youtube

Carry out the instructions from 1.39 onward, downloading the add-on called ADP (Ad block plus) and also install "Easylist"

It only takes a few seconds to do and I can vouch that it works and has no virus etc

It was really p*s*ing me off using headphones to listen to videos when you get your ears blasted with some inane advert that repeats ad infinitum, especially when I was listening to a succession of music videos

This makes it an infinitely more pleasurable experience

I was on the verge of boycotting Youtube because of their decision to enforce ad watching

I'm sure you'll appreciate it
