Hi,
I'm a bit late adding to this thread. Did that series have a different title in The States? In the U.K. it was called Murder Rooms: The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes. One pilot and 4 episodes. A brilliant series. I wish that they had done more. Ian Richardson was a very creditable Sherlock Holmes in my opinion in two made-for-tv movies in the U.K. ( as you probably already knew)

Hi Howard:
The only reason that I asked was because in your original post you put 'origin of Sherlock Holmes.' As it was actually '....The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes' I just wondered if it was alternatively titled in the USA as things sometimes are.
