    • controversy

      Hello Rob. Thanks.

Although Mr. Hutchinson (known by ripper students as "Toppy") is not within my area of expertise, I can say that a great controversy exists concerning whether he were the same as the "MJK" witness.

      Have you checked those threads?

      Cheers.

Yes Lynn checked a few threads and other articles and obviously as an unsolved story/crime there are many theories this particular crime being possibly the most historic London heritage one there is there are so many possibilities and poo poo theories around. I obviously as a novice in the subject just like to see the opinions and perspectives and in some cases imaginary fictions. I feel if the case was ever solved we would lose possibly the biggest mystery known to this country. So glad I found this forum and look forward to interacting with everyone.

Thanks Lynn and it's great that I'm actually one of the only people who is related to one of the substantial links in the whole subject.

Hence why I had the tattoo done as part of my family related sleeve as it is an amazing but as I mentioned earlier morbid history.

But by the by Tim. . . .
How is your de coding of Ripper letters going?
Did you examine the letter received by the Police dated 9th October 1888?

                      Great ARTWORK don't you think?
The skull n crossbones n coffin etc etc.
I wonder what serial killer with access to paint and crayons and red ink sent that one?

                      • I haven't seen the letter you refer to. Where could I find it?

I haven't found anything in the Dear Boss letter but, still looking. It's probably my imagination and a load of bo**ocks, but it's keeping me occupied whilst bed ridden, Ha!
The Things that intrigue me in that letter are the deliberate mistakes among other things. It's obviously been written by an educated person so why the mistake an 'shant' rather than 'shan't'. The person used the apostrophe on all the other words needed. I dunno, but something just looks wrong.
                        Tim.

One more thing, I removed derogatory remarks made regarding Casebook...they aren't acceptable....
                          Thank you for the cooperation....
